Facelift Before & After in Marbella

A transparent record of what surgery can — and cannot — achieve

WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO SEE

Each photograph below documents a specific surgical case — one frame captured before the procedure, and the same patient months later, once recovery is complete. There are no filters, no studio retouching, and no angles chosen to flatter the result. Every image follows the same photographic protocol the clinic has used from day one, so that the comparison reflects exclusively what surgery has changed.

Patients who appear in this gallery have signed a specific written consent authorising the publication of their images. Some agreed to share fully recognisable photographs; others preferred that we crop to the surgical area only. In every case, the technique applied, the operating surgeon and the recovery timeline are recorded in our internal database and can be reviewed during a private consultation.

We don’t publish every case — only those that illustrate the techniques we use most frequently and whose owners have agreed to share them. If you’d like to see additional examples relevant to your facial structure, age range or specific concern, we can show you a tailored selection in person.

HOW WE DOCUMENT OUR RESULTS

Photographic honesty is the foundation of any meaningful before and after gallery. The protocol below is the same one used internally for every case we operate on — whether the patient agrees to publish their images or not. It exists so that any comparison you see here reflects only the surgical change, never the lighting, never the angle, never a retouching brush.

1

Standardised conditions

Same lighting, same distance, same angle, neutral background. Every patient, every case.

2

Consistent timing

Post-op photos taken at defined intervals: typically 3, 6 and 12 months after surgery.

3

Written informed consent

Every patient signs a specific consent authorising publication of their images.

4

Surgeon attribution

Each case is linked internally to the surgeon who performed it: Dr. Valdés or Dr. Vallejo.

5

No filters, no retouching

Images are unedited. We only adjust crop and white balance for visual consistency.

6

Realistic representation

Cases shown are representative of common outcomes, not a guarantee of identical results.

ABOUT THIS GALLERY

How long after surgery are these photos taken?

Our standard protocol takes post-operative photographs at 3, 6 and 12 months after surgery, depending on the procedure. Most images in this gallery correspond to the 6-month mark, when facial swelling has fully resolved and the final outcome is visible.

Why can’t I see any visible scars in your photos?

Facelift incisions are placed along the natural contours of the ear, behind the tragus and within the hairline, where they remain hidden once healing is complete. The post-op photographs you see here are taken once the scars have matured — typically beyond six months — at which point they are virtually imperceptible at conversational distance.

Are these photographs real patients of Marbella Facelift?

Yes. Every image belongs to a real patient operated on by our team at HC Marbella International Hospital. None are stock images, simulations or AI-generated. Each case is recorded in our internal database with the surgeon, technique and date of intervention.

Why don’t you show some patients’ faces in full?

We respect each patient’s privacy. Some agree to publish full-face images; others prefer that we crop to the surgical area only. The consent we obtain is specific to the use, format and duration of the publication, and patients can withdraw it at any time.

Will my results look like these?

No two faces are alike, and no two recoveries are identical. The cases shown here illustrate what we have achieved for patients with comparable starting points — but your outcome will depend on your anatomy, your skin quality, your age and the technique we apply. An honest answer to this question only comes after an in-person assessment.

Can I see more cases for my specific procedure?

During a consultation, our surgeons can show you additional cases relevant to your facial structure, age range and the technique we would recommend for you. This is far more useful than browsing a public gallery, because the cases shown will be selected to match your specific profile.

Medical disclaimer. All photographs on this page belong to real patients of Marbella Facelift who have provided written informed consent for their publication. Surgical outcomes vary depending on each patient’s anatomy, age, skin quality and the technique applied. The results shown are representative and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of identical outcomes. All procedures are performed by board-certified plastic surgeons at HC Marbella International Hospital under the medical responsibility of Dr. Héctor Valdés (Registration no.: 282852313).

SEE WHAT WE COULD ACHIEVE FOR YOU

A public gallery shows you what’s possible. A private consultation shows you what’s possible for you. Our surgeons will review your facial anatomy, discuss your expectations, and walk you through cases selected specifically for your profile.
